ABOUT.

Jonah Sirtes is a Sydney-based producer, songwriter, mix engineer, composer, performer, educator, and content creator working across contemporary and classical music contexts.
​
He is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, holding a Bachelor of Music (Composition for Creative Industries, 2024). His formal training has provided a strong foundation in composition, orchestration, production, and critical listening, enabling him to work fluently across a wide range of musical styles and media.
Jonah’s work spans film, television, theatre, radio, digital media, and live performance. He is proficient in industry-standard software including Logic Pro X and Sibelius, and combines detailed musical notation with modern production techniques to create cohesive, emotionally driven soundscapes tailored to each project’s narrative and aesthetic requirements.
Credits include films such as 'Consume' (dir. Aliyah Knight), alongside work across independent film, artist releases, and commissioned projects.

In addition to his creative practice, Jonah has been an active music educator since the age of 15, providing instrumental and music theory tuition to students of all ages and experience levels. With over eight years of teaching experience, he is committed to fostering strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity, confidence, and musical independence.
Alongside his work in music, Jonah is an active content creator, producing educational and creative media focused on music-making, production processes, and artistic development.
Jonah is currently available for production, composition, mixing, performance engagements, educational work, and creative collaborations.
